Ustaz Azmi bin Abdul Samad is the CEO and Principal Islamic Consultant of Al-Qiblah International Consultants that specializes in syariah and halal consultancy.
Graduated from the Islamic University of Medina where he obtained his BA in Syariah (Islamic Jurisprudence), Ustaz Azmi Abdul Samad is presently the CEO and Principal Consultant of the AlQiblah International Consultants and Halal Hub Business Management; which specializes in Islamic and Halal consultancy.
He is also the Chairman of the Syariah Islamic and Research Consultancy Centre, vice-secretary of Pergas Highest Council Board and a member of Mendaki Board of Directors. In 2005, he was appointed as Naib-Kadi by the President of Singapore. This role empowers him to solemnize Muslim marriages in the country.
He gives lectures regularly on religious issues and motivational talks at local mosques, Muslim organisations and functions. He is also a lecturer for ‘Talk on Islam’ which he delivers to national service officers and grassroot leaders at community and social gatherings.
Today, being one of the resource persons in Islamic rulings, he gives views and advises not only to the Muslim community but also to corporate firms, food manufacturers, educational institutions, media and film producers, both in Singapore and the region.
He also had served The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) as a halal consultant / inspection officer. During his tenure at MUIS Halal certification Unit, he had successfully assisted a few fast food giants to obtain their halal certifications.
